Water Safety Sessions 

Royal Life Saving South Australia delivers Water Safety Sessions to community groups to ensure everyone remains safe in, on and around water.

Our sessions can additionally include CPR and First Aid training promoting lifesaving education.

All programs are adaptable to suit community’s needs.

Interpreting services can be provided at no cost.

Community Lifesaver Program

About:
The program will be delivered across six sessions that will each focus on a survival/rescue skill set:

- Session 1: Introduction to water safety

- Session 2: Introduction to stroke development

- Session 3: Water safety and survival skills

- Session 4: Perform basic dry and wet rescue

- Session 5: Learn CPR

- Session 6: Learn First Aid

Duration: 6 weeks

Dates: Every Friday from 2nd May to 6th June 2025

Lesson time: 6:30-7:30pm; 7:30-8:30pm

Locations: Oaks Swim Centre, 11 Blacks Rd, Gilles Plains SA 5086

Participants: 20

Age Requirements: 18+

Cost: Free

Aqua Smart for the Young at Heart

Water Safety Program for Adults aged over 50

Every Wednesday from 10:00am - 11:00am

Held at The Oaks Swim Centre, Gilles Plains

Cost: $10 ($7.50 concession)
